About my work
As an independent advisor, I have the opportunity to provide mentorship, performance consulting and transformation expertise directly to my clients.
Mentorship a better word could be guide, because a mentor is all about guiding individuals through problem-solving, capability & career choices so they can make the most of the opportunities to enhance their performance.
Performance Consulting Improving business performance is what consulting is all about. The work can be as diverse as deep expertise to design strategy through to a ‘roll up your sleeves and get a job done now’ engagement. Primary areas of focus have been in operating model and process improvement, capability coaching and ‘uplift’ of skills, systems review & gap analysis.
Transformation In recent times, it is often heard that the only thing that can be certain is that change will continue to happen. Terms like ‘disruption’ or ‘transformation’ become common – however, this does not make it any easier. Genuine transformation – to make fundamental changes to meet demands from shifts in the market – takes expertise, executive attention and strict time boundaries to achieve the promised benefits.
I have been fortunate to combine my academic interests of culture and people into a business career that has spanned over 25 years giving me executive leadership opportunities to drive large-scale transformation, coach fantastic individuals and teams and deliver sustained business performance improvement.
My experience has including being a senior partner in a big 4 consulting firm, global client executive in a top technology company through to regional sales development in banking & finance. Most recently, I had the opportunity to deliver multimillion dollar benefits through a global transformation of systems, processes and capability.
As always, business development and stakeholder engagement have been core to my work. From retail sales through to large global deals – the focus on the client remains the same.
Please get in touch – it would be great to connect.
